And I say its alright. Thankfully we have been given a respite from the rain. We got 7.5 inches of rain over the weekend. Luckily our basement wasn't too bad, just a few major puddles along one wall. You would've thought we had a foot if you talked to J. I heard one family just redid their basement into a rec room and ended up with water to the windows, bye, bye 52 inch big screen tv. Our basement is just a nasty old basement where all of our crap gets stored and houses our washer and dryer. I'm sure some of you saw on the news about a whole lake draining and washing away some houses.
Crazy stuff.

Woah, that's a lot of rain! Glad you didn't have much damage from it.
Holy crap! That is insane! How does that happen? Is it a big lake? That's just crazy. I'm glad you had minimal damage. This spring has been crazy in these parts!
Dude - a whole lake. That's craziness. That's really all I have to say about that topic.
OMG!!! I would be devastated!! A whole house. This weather is getting weirder and weirder. We've been having a heat wave here in new england the past 4days- Kinda early for heat in the 90's for us,they even closed schoold early yesterday because of it. It's kinda scarry-what's next??
Oh my gosh! i can't believe that. It was almost painful to watch.
We have hurricanes which can be bad but tornadoes create massive destruction. I would never want to experience that.
Good thing you didn't
