Storm Warning

Yesterday Peanut Butter had been upgraded from tropical storm depression back to a category 5 hurricane. She was all business. But her fever came back today and she was a tired little girl asleep by 7:15. I think she had been downgraded back to a tropical storm. I have sinus problems. I felt like crap yesterday and earlier today. I actually got a nap in this afternoon and am feeling a bit better. I know I'm going to get a sinus infection, since I always do when ever I get a cold/flu. I got a sinus cleanser, similar to a neti pot that I will be trying out. Hopefully that will help. J feels like a martyr since he spent the whole day with Peanut Butter. I'm like it's going to take more than one bad day hon, I had 4 of them this week. I had the worst jobs today, I hate working the visiting room. I hate seeing kids come in to see their daddies locked up. There was a cute little girl today around PB age and I just hated the fact that she was in that environment. There was another family that came in he had 4 kids and it was like a big effort to hug them. I was like give them a little love, dang, you ain't that hard core. I normally don't talk about work, but today it bothered me.

I'm must have missed it--are you some sort of prison guard?

I hope you guys get to feeling better!

I'm with Cassandra.....guessing your work at a jail. It must be tough to see the little ones come in for a visit.

Hope everyone is feeling better :)

i feel for you. i'm sure it's hard to see all that stuff. sometimes guys just have a hard time to show their kids a little love, you have to kinda tell them to "hug your kid today, or tell them you love them!" i work in the consturction field where guys are traveling around the country and they talk to their kids on the phone coz they can't be home for weeks at a time. once in awhile i have little conversations with some of them about their kids, i remind them to tell their kids they love them. some time i think they forget, it's different than jail, but kinda the same, as far as not being able to be with them.
