Yep, this is a lame thought, but it has been buggin' me for a while now. Why doesn't Dora the Explorer's shirt fit? Seriously, does a cartoon need to bare her midriff? Is there something I'm missing? Diego doesn't let his pants hang so you can see his underwear, so why doesn't Dora's shirt fit?

I have seriously always wondered the same exact thing! Well, that and why her head is so damn big. But the midriff! Maybe she has been taking dressing hints from the Bratz . . .
I am NOT kidding-- we saw this chubby mexican girl at the beach--shirt sliding up her puffy little belly--and my nephew (he was TWO at the time) looked right at her and said "Da Da Da Da Dora!"
she is channeling her inner Britney.
