Miss Peanut Butter loves sweet corn, unfortunately the corn season is coming to a close. I was surprised at first how well she mastered eating off the cob. She dives right in and cleans the cob right off. I also enjoy sweet corn. I however like mine with butter and enough salt to raise your blood pressure, well maybe not that much, but I do like it with a bit of salt. As goes sweet corn so goes summer and welcome fall.

Oh her and those eyes! Have I told you lately how cute she is. Yeah, thought so. Our guy, too, loves sweet corn. He can down 3 cobs in no time flat.

Where I was born we always just called it "corn."
Then I moved to Indiana for a couple of years, and everybody called it "sweet corn." I couldn't wait to try sweet corn. Imagine my surprise...

Well, besides the obvious...corn is yummy!
It has been a banner corn crop here this summer and we have had our share of it! You cannot eat it without smearing it from cheek to cheek. I am glad she know to have her corn and eat it too!

She is so cute! My son dives right in too. At first he liked it just straight forward, but now he likes "butta" on it too.
It just kills me that corn season is almost over and I've hardly had any. It has just been so expensive for some reason. What the?

My kids love corn, BUT ONLY if it's from the cob. They won't eat canned or frozen. I love it with butter and salt too!

Seriously sweet corn is so tasty you hardly NEED much on it, maybe a tad of butter. ;-) PB is enjoying it!

I love sweet corn. Annika doesn't eat much of anything and she'll even eat it! I love watching kids eat off the cob! It's great (messy too!).
