PhotoStory Friday: The Streak Continues

PhotoStory Friday
Hosted by Cecily and MamaGeek

See this face, the face of pure sweetness. You would think that this girl was a complete angel right? As I mentioned last Friday Miss Peanut Butter has been on a bit of a naughty streak. Just when I was worried about not having a post, she comes through in full hurricane force.

Today I decided to take a shower and mistakenly told Peanut Butter this information. As I'm stepping in the shower I hear, "Mama, I need help." I yelled I will help you in a minute, I have to shower. After I get out of the shower, I hear an eerie silence, the tv wasn't on, then I hear items that were launched landing on the floor. I run down stairs and there she is sitting on the counter with the biggest "I did it" look and I wanted to cry. This is what I saw.

You maybe wondering what that is all over the floor, it is a bag of orzo. For those of you that don't know what orzo is it is a rice like pasta, and in this case it was an expensive organic pasta that I paid way too much for, but it was going to make a heck of a meal someday.

Little bitty specks all over the kitchen floor. Along with some chunks of half eaten bubble gum and what was left of dog biscuits in his treat container. After I cleaned the mess I returned to dry my hair and when I returned from that a newspaper was strewn about the place. Could it get any worse..... Yes it can.

Apparently the way to get your mother's attention while your mother is filling up with gas is to start taking bites out of your car seat. Yes you read that right, actually biting the styrofoam and spitting it out.

This even puts a crack in the top of the stryofoam. I am torn on what to do here. I read you can duct tape it up and it is okay, so that is what I am doing for now. I don't know if I can find a replacement since they don't make the seat anymore, but is a Britax byproduct. But I was pretty upset about the seat and told the girl to go to her room. She took this as well, you want a bigger mess, here it is.

I could here the crashing and items being thrown about. I'm just happy she didn't decide to empty her bookcases. I did make her clean it up, she wasn't thrilled about that. To think destroying her room started with this....

Someone didn't like the fact that they were put in their crib for a nap and well, pulling the border off of the wall will show them. That was a year ago, look how far we have come.

OMG! My kids have pulled similar stunts . . . why they are not out on the curb with a sign that says 'FREE' is sometimes beyond me.

WOW! That's quite a streak - oh wait, I just walked outside my door, and I could a streak of Peanut Butter across the sky - it flew and flew and then at the end, there was a mushroom of smoke. I could smell peanuts from here. Dude. You need Super Nanny. :-)

Oh Robyn....Hopefully she'll grow out of it. Maybe you can find a 'toddler whisperer' and find out what she's thinking....

:)

or maybe just a psychic

I see a pattern here....rice, eating her carseat, tipping over and emptying her play kitchen. Feed the child. She is obviously hungry. lol!!
