When I posted this photo in my Facebook album, I just liked the fact that Miss Peanut Butter was shoving a rock at me saying, "look Mama, ROCK!" One of my friends commented on the thing she loved about the photo was the girl trying to choke out the other on in the background. I didn't even notice it. It is a little funny because I'm on a mission to find out who the parents are of the girl in yellow. She is not the nicest of girls. I understand that play can be rough sometimes and Miss PB is a rough houser, but she is also only 2 and a half. The other night this girl was trying to smother PB into the ground, push her down the hill and who knows what else when I wasn't looking. She is at least 5. The best part of it after all the stuff I saw her do, she told me Miss PB pinched her as I was taking her out of the situation. I'm sure PB might have pinched her, but I was so hot at the time that I actually said to her, trying to not fly off the handle, "well, you are not so innocent yourself." Thinking a 5 year old is going to comprehend this, as I walked away she asked the other girls there what that means. Argh. J and I have always believed in teaching standing up for yourself, it somewhat worked with The Boy and PB isn't going to be any different, in fact I think she will do more than fine with it, she just hasn't figured out the girl is being mean to her. When she does, I'm sure she'll be saying, "I'll get you my pretty..."
